A lot of people on TV in Europe, this war in Ukraine and Russia should not be taking place. They rather think that it is a thing for North Africa, middle east, Iraq, Afghanistan or some Developing country.

According to a report on the daily show by Trevor Noah, certain individuals of European decent are seemingly surprised that the war is actually taking place in Europe.
According to the video, the following excepts could be heard from certain people. (Video will be posted on here).
One of them said. ” This is not a developing third world nation this is Europe…”
Another suggesting how prosperous Ukraine is had this to say. ” These are Prosperous middle class people, not people trying to get Away from areas in North Africa. They look like any European family that you would want to live next door to..”
Another person also trying so hard to make it looked like war isn’t European had exactly this to say … ” What could be different here from other conflicts you know that seem very far away in north Africa or in the middle east. They are Europeans that we are seeing being killed”
Europeans seem to have reduced war into a thing of other areas, other than just Europe. A carful person on TV trying hard to sound nice had this to say.. ” these isn’t a place with all dues respect, you know like Iraq or Afghanistan…. You know this is relatively a civilized ehh, relatively European… You know I have to choose those words carefully too.. a city where you wouldn’t expect that or hope it’s going to happen..

At this point, Trevor becomes analytical and comic about the comments from certain people in Europe who are honestly expressive of the fact that war is for the 3rd world countries, north Africa, Iraq, Afghanistan,Middle East Or just elsewhere other than Europe. Trevor looks at it from a perspective of someone who is well aware of racism and all other tendencies as such.
