The federal government of Nigeria on the ongoing “war” in Ukraine is ready to accompany her citizens transit back to Nigeria. She advices them to use all means possible and get to Poland Romania or Hungary.
Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised Nigerians leaving Ukraine to make use of the Hungarian and Romanian borders.
In a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Gabriel Aduda, the ministry said it was aware of the challenges that Nigerians were facing at the Polish borders and advised them to use these alternative borders.
Hungary and Romania have approved visa-free entry for Nigerians and will provide accommodation and feeding before evacuation is arranged.
The ongoing crisis in Ukraine is leaving a great number of foreign students and immigrants suffering and opting to return to their home countries. Those with shegen Visas are sure going to find other peaceful countries in Europe.
